Fabrics (Sewing & Quilting)
We carry a variety of materials for your sewing and quilting needs. We carry several Jinny Beyer fabrics for quilting and Martha Pullen fabric for your heirloom sewing and Anna Griffin for those Sewing with Whimsy projects. We have a selection of fat quarters that you be can incorporate into a variety of projects. We also offer a selection of minkee fabric, the softest, cuddliest fabric around. You will love the incredibly soft touch of Minkee. Mixed it with satins for the softest baby quilts ever, giving babies multiple textures to touch. One touch is worth a thousand words! We also have some beautiful batik fabric, 100% cotton, with a very smooth feeling to your hand, these fabrics are unique, EACH PIECE IS HAND PAINTED. There are always variations from roll to roll, color to color but that is the beauty of these fabrics and is not considered flawed. These are truly a one of a kind fabric. Books Cds and Patterns
We have several books and CDs as well as patterns including the Accquilt patterns. Many of these will help with learning the techniques of Quilting and Heirloom Sewing and help to give you inspiration. In these publications, you will find great written and photo instructions from beginner to advanced techniques. We also a have selection of machine embroidery Cds to be used in creating your fabulous embroidery projects. We also carry the Carol's Zoo line of stuffed animal patterns so you can make that special cuddly animal for your special ones.
Laces, Embroideries & Tatting
We stock lace and embroideries insertion and edging for sewing, quilting and stitching up lovely heirloom items. Note: ALL lace sold by the YARD.
Some Lace and Embroideries Facts:

INSERTION - refers to lace or embroidery with two straight sides.

EDGING - refers to lace or embroidery with one straight side and one scalloped side.

BEADING - refers to lace or embroidery with openings for weaving ribbon.

ENTREDEUX - refers to embroidered trim that resembles a tiny train track with seam allowances (a must have for creating those lovely heirloom projects).

SWISS EMBROIDERY - consists of working upon fine linen or batiste and embroidering patterns in satin stitch and other embroidery stitches with white embroidery cotton.

TATTING - refers is a technique for handcrafting a particularly durable lace constructed by a series of knots and loops. Tatting can be used to make lace edging as well as doilies, collars, and other decorative pieces.
Ribbons & Thread
Ribbon provides a finishing touch that propels the ordinary to the extraordinary. We carry the 100% silk satin double faced ribbon, baby piping , lace tape and some Mini-Gingham ribbon as well as a selection of the threads that you need to assemble your projects.
